What a week.

After the mess i had to clean up om sunday night and all day monday i realy didnt think this week could get any worse and boy how wrong was i.
On wednesday i decided i had had enough of being stuck in because of the rain so me and the kids went on a bus trip first we went to Camerathen and got soaked through as the rain was very heavy and as we had left a sunny Lanelli not one of us had a coat on so we decided to jump back onto the bus and try Swansea and suprise suprise when we got there it was also pouring with rain so we got soaked through all over again we still enjoyed just got very very wet lol, When we returned to Llaneelli the sun showed its face once again and everywhere started to dry up but it was all just a little too late for us ohhh well maybe next time it will be better.

On thursday my new cooker decided to brake everytime i try to switch on the back hob it keeps tripping my electric well hell it never just rains on me it just seems to constantly pour i wonder what i did wromg in a past life to deserve all this grief and wait for it cos it doesnt stop here oh no that would be far too easy now wouldnt it,,, they are coming to try repair my cooker sometime on thursday.

On friday we had a dry sunny day i went shopping in the morning and cut the front and back lawns in the afternoon before getting dragged into the pool with the kids so that was a much much better day.
On saturday morning i went to use my straightening irons on my hair and yep youve guessed it one of the heating elements has gone is this my 3rd thing?? is it all over yet??? in a word NO not yet ........... me and leon baked some fairy cakes and as it was raining again we played sing star for a few hours which also took my mind of things for a bit.

Sunday.... the first day of a change of luck??? HUH dont be so silly........... Today was quiet i was trying to get as much stitching as i could in as well as watch the footie the grand prix and the closing of the olympics which was all on the same time so i had thigs taping and trying to watch 2 things at once.Well later than afternoon we had been playing with the dog the same way as usual we all settled down for dinner and then i fed the dog when i called him he couldnt put any weight onto one of his front legs we have no idea at all what he has domne he was fine when he went to sleep and when he got up this morning there is no change at all and as ts a bank holiday i cant even get him to a vet and i am dreading finding out just how much that is going to cost me ontop of everything else thats gone wrong this week.

So even though tomorrow is my wedding anniversary hopefully we vcan get the dog looked at but then it looks like i will be spending the day in the vets please who ever is holding this bad cloud over my head remove it i dont know how much more of this i can take i realy realy dont.

My topsyturvy weekend

On saturday night me and my lot went over to Kaye and Pauls for the evening along with Debbie Kev and thier kids too we all had a fantastic evening we went over around 6ish and we where getting home around 1.30am!!! needless to say the kids didnt get up untill after 12pm on sunday morning LOL Kaye had cooked food for everyone i realy dont think i could be that brave lol and she cut my hair for me it realy needed doing it was half way down my back and now its just over shoulder length so its a whole lot different!!!! Its our turn to have everyone over next time we just need to arrange a day we havent been out like that for ages and then we go out twice in a week lol

Yesterday was a very different matter though we where watching a movie with the kids last night after me and Leon had baked some chocolate muffins and i had cooked some chicken wings in a tikka sauce and some wedges as the kids were going to bed Jake came in after going into the kitchen for a drink and said there were huge puddles of water my washing machine has leaked from the bottom and flooded my kitchen what made it worse was that it had gomne underneath my wooden flooring so we were ripping it up at almost midnight last night and trying to clean up all the water my kitchen is a complete mess thai morning and now i have no flooring in there either so id better get going with the clean up hhmmmm cant see me getting much done on my rr today.

Thursday fun

Last night me and the boys went round to our friends Deb and Kevs for the evening for a few drinks when we got there Kaye and Paul where also there with thier kids we had such a ball the men all in one room chating around the pc and me and the girls in the kitchen chatting about this that and everything alse as you do we were all drinking Kevs home made red wine well all of us except Deb who was sticking to her malibo and coke as she wasnt brave enough to drink the wine as its soo strong lol we had such a great time that we didnt get home till 1am and the kids didnt get up until almost noon today Kaye and Paul have invited us all over to thiers on saturday night and im realy looking foward to that too.

I spent this afternoon cutting down the hedge in the front garden and did it just intime before the rain started again im sick of the wet stuff all the time ah well

Right im off now to take the boys to cadets so i can slip to tescos and get back in time to watch big brother.

Its been a long day

I have had another busy day today first i had to pay a visit to the dentist and anyone who knows me well will know that this is no easy thing for me as i am terrified after an inncident there when i was a small child i knew before i drove myself down there that i was having a filling but as i knew it had to be done i bravely went and Leon offered to come with me to hold me hand (which was very sweet of him) i took him with me to keep me company in the car, I have a big problem with anesthisia i have to have a bigger amount than most people to get it to work on me and it always takes longer so i am quite used to going in having 2 injections rather than 1 and having a longer wait in reception than most too but today was different, Alex (my dentist) decided it would be better as it was onlyu a small filling in my wisdom tooth that it would be better if i went without the injections and just have the tooth filled i was horrified!!!! but i agreed to give it a try if it would mean less pain for me tonight and it was fine i was shocked but glad to have it over with quicker i must say.

leon had made plans with Chelsea to go to the local indoor swiming pool this afternooon the kids get to swin free there at certain times of the summer holidays which is great and as he has just learned how to swim i didnt see the harm me and Jake went up with him and we sat in the over looking gallery so we could still be there without cramping his style not that he seemed to mind as he waved a few times to us lol. Well it was a disastor from the start within 2 minutes he had managed to almost drown himself on the big inflatable play station they had down the deepend but he was fine in a few minutes and managed to enjoy the rest of the hour so did i i must say sat with a cppichino and half a bag of malteasers and the book i am currantly reading i managed to get quite a few chapters read even though it was very noisy there.

well the weather is still not great its still very windy and we are still having very very heavy showers and according to the experts its going to stay that way for most of this month which is a shame but gives me planty of ime to stay in and do more baking!!! i will leave you all with a picture of the blueberry gateux i made on monday

Fun weekend

I am just so tired tonight i will be falling into bed as siin as Donny gets back from our friends house a few doors down. Last night he was over there aswell with his friend while his wife was out ma and the boys were watching a dvd all 3 of us sat on the sofa with a bowl of dorreyos and some popcorn they went off ti bed around 11pm so i settled down on the sifa to watch big brother and then army wives well i didnt get to watch what i wanted lol the phone rang just after midnight and i was told that Paula was coming over to see me well a few goggles and drinks later it was gone 3.30am before she decided she was ready to go home and when she went home her and Lol where still chatting to us on msn Donny had already been home a while but as thier kids aswell as ours wer in bed we couldnt all be in the same place at once so a webcam does the job well lol

So im begining to suffer now lol but ive been playing burnout on the 360 for the last few hrs so that kep me awake!!! i also scubbed the fish yank today its sparkling at the moment at least i have a few days to recover before i go to my other friends for a bbq (weather permonting) wednesday night she phoned me earlier they were just back from a long weekend away and were all very tired.

Struggling

This week has been a long one for me I have been struggling with my asthma i guess all this wet weather isnt helping much ive been upto town with the boys this afternoon and its still pouring with rain and very very windy I WANT SUMMER!!!!!!!!

I lost my car for 3 days this week my friend had it at his garage for me giving it a once over before the mot and i am happy to say it passed so thats one less worry for me at the moment with the tax due the end of the month at £101.75 for 6 months yes i nearly died when i opened the envelope this morning it seems the moneys going out faster than its coming in ah well thats live i guess.

I had a desperate plea from my other friend on thursday night on facebook she was having problems with her pc i called her but that wasnt helping so i decided to take a drive over to see what the problem was well tuens out that her hubby doesnt like to do the windows updates lol so msn wasnt working i helped him instal real player so they could get music on thier sons mp3 player and my whole family are going over monday night to try get the pc sorted have a bbq(weather pwermiting ) and a few drinks that will be fun :-) he gave me a bottle of his home made red wine to bring home as i was too lazy to walk across and took the car me and Donny drank it last night when the kids are at cadets i dont normaly drink red wione as i dont care for it much but Kevs certinaly kept me warm and rosey cheeked as i walked across to meet the boys LOL hard to believe we started them off making home brew and now they make more than we do.

I spend yesterday afternoon watching the olypics opening ceromony and wow it was fantastic i realy realy enjoyed it and manged to get some work done on my halloween exchanges.

My dad was down this morning and i cut his hair for him as a thankyou for running be about to take aand fetch my car ive been down to his to drop the game off for him as he wasnt back for his father in laws i left it so he has it when he returns it was burnout revenge i love that game so much i was so disapointed when i got burnout paradise for my birthday earlier this year as its so different in fact i havent played it again since i got it in february lol

Oh well i have the living room to myself for a bit longer while the boys are upstairs then im going to make a curry and we are all going to settle down with a movie tonight its starting to get dark already its just so so miserable here in wales.

The joys of having sons........

today after i got back in the pouring rain after droping my car off at the garage i decided it was time to clear out the bathroom cupboard so we can rip it down before we get a new bathroom suite sometime in the new 12 months then they can rearrage the bathroom so we have more space.Well in the nig bathroom cupbaord thats where we store all the empty wine bootles and beer bottles for when we make home brew i run out of boxes to put them in to move them into the shed and Leon said dont worry mammy i have a spare plastic one upstairs you can have that great so he went to collect it for me. He passed it over the stairs banister for me as our bathroom is downstairs and i just caught the glmpse of something black and eight legged my reaction must of been quite big as Leon and Donny fell about in giggles at me when i looked and seem it was joking i could of just died lol Leon should know better as i am terrified of spiders but i love the wicked sode of him Jake was in the living room but also managed to laugh at me its not fair living in a houseful of boys!!!!!

Baking cakes

Leon and i have just starting baking cakes at the moment we have currant cakes and chocolate chip ones baking in the oven and when they come out we have chocolate and chocolate chocolate chip ones to go in :-)

Leon passed his cook stewart third class at sea cadets last week and brought home his badge for me to stitch onto his uniform before tuesday he is doing so well there we are soproud he was the only junior to achive such a high level you normaly dont get the chance to do this when you are a junior but he will be a new entry just after xmas so they allowed him to do it i will try get a photo of him for you to see before he goes tuesday.

Our new arrivals.

We havent had a good week this week weatherwise we have had everything from thunderstorms strong winds heavy rain and sunshine so the kids have had a week indoors. On wednesday we had to drive up to Gorseinon to get some food for psycho as we cant get frozen mice in llanelli sowe all got in the car and braved the winds and rain to go up to get some supplies well taking the kids into a pet shop is never a good idea now is it lol neadless to say the photos say it all we came home with 4 new family members Blossom,Spike,Patches and Gremlin four ladies that have found a new home in the kids bedroom i cant keep them downstairs as it wouldd totally wind up the snake.

I have been busy stitching away for the halloween exchanges i am in so i cant show you what i have been doing but i can show you my square that i have finished on the first round robin we are holding at starydreamers fabrics mine in halloween themed and i have done it on a piece of fabric i have dued and i used dmc krenick and sss to do it.

I also have an update of my santas dragon it is starting to look like something at long last but still has a long way to go i did say xmas 2010 remember lol Donny asked me this morning if it would be done for next xmas as he cant see me doing it for this year maybe i should show him!!!!

Sunshine and cocktails.

I havent been online much this weekend its been so lovely hot and sunny here ive sspent all my time in the garden and the pool with the kids ive been up till 3am most mornings watching dvds and drinking cocktails with Donny lol you get some cool green and blue colours wouldnt fancy drinking too may of them and being sick that colour though lmao!!!!

Its been so great spending so much time with the kids i have to make the most of it they are almost all grown up already and wont want to spend so much time with me before i know it especially as they will both be in comp this september. We haver another beautiful morning here but its not to last so says the weathe forcast of this week we are due for some unsettled thundery weather the next few days so ill be inside getting some stitching done!!! Me and Leon spent more time together in the garden yesterday as Jake had Sean over we sat in the tent and Leon painted my tose for me yes i know it should be toe nails but there was more on my tose lol lucky it was just a clear with glitter in it.He asked me to turn him into an emo like pne of his fave bands (my chemical romance) so i gave him some black eye liner and found my black lipstick you should of seen him lol he didnt take long to wash off the lipstick but he liked his eyes oh dear whathave i done!!! we also found some henna tattoos in my box so next time its wet and we are having a sing star contest we are going to punk out lol that reminds me too i have to go online and buy some new songs from sing store.

I redyed my hair on satuirday so i have gone back to dark brown from blonde so its a lot different again but no grey yeay!!! and i have bought a blonde and honey streaking kit to use in the next few weeks to lighten it down a bit and redo Leons hair,

Another busy day.

we went down to morisons this morning to go shoping when we got home we got a phone call to say that Jakes school jacket i ordered had come in so in my wisdom i decided to take the dog then go for a long walk around the water park which is next to the beach as i was wearing a vest top and short skirt i guess i will have caught the sun that will teach me not to keep sun cream in the car lol the dog is suffering for it now though mind you the poor thing is almost 11years old. It was realy nice down by the beach warm and sunny but very windy still nice though as it was a warm wind and there were so many people out walking and cycling.

Had a much better day with the kids saying that Leon is still only allowed out with us and he is in his room so its a hard lesson being learned and Jake is upstairs on the ps3 for a bit.

Well im off to try and stitch fr a bit as it is thursday and i am involved in a count your stitches contest at a board i help admin.

Mixed emotions

Today Jake got his cast off his foot thank goodness!!! no football rugby or boating for three weeks though but at least he has healed quickly and has some sort of freedom back so thats a very good thing.the boys also had a check up at the dentist and as usual had a shining report there.

I havent been online much the last few days Leon managged to get himself into trouble with us on sunday which stopped us from going to the beach and has got him grounded to his room for the next 2 weeks i thought he was a sensable boy and didnt understand the need for him to try copying what some of the older boys around here do i guess its a shame that some of the other parents in the area dont take better care of thier kids and teach them right from wrong and we wouldnt have this worry but thats life i guess i am hoping that he will learn form it and not be tempted into doing silly dangerous things again but we all have to learn from our own mistakes and choose our friends wisely there is always a learning curve i guess. At least he wasnt hurt or anyone else and nothing was damaged either.

I dont have anything stitchy to show as i have been busy working away on exchanges.
I have had a houseful of vistors back and fore all day which is always nice. I makes me think of how a few months ago i was thinking about asking a friend and her daughter down to stay for a few days over the summer holidays as we were getting along so well it would of been so nice to have someone to sit and stitch with its been a long time since ive had that about 15years when i used to sit and stitch with Donnys brothers old girlfriend we used to have contests who could finish what first lol but anyway looks like my plans fell through before i could make then noo matter realy i guess i can still stitch in the garden while the boys play in the pool

Off to the beach

the sky may be grey and it may be a bit windy but we are off to the beach soon for a walk there is a high tide tonight so we are going to see it i know Jake cant walk too much with his foot so we are taking the car and going from there hes upstairs playing on the ps3 with his dad at the moment they are shoting each other in some army game i can hear them as if they were in the same room as me with all the giggling and shouting lol Leon is out playing with Jordan i did phone him home earlier for dinner then he went back out again guess i wont see much of him over these holidays.

At the moment im listening to clubland 13 and some of the redone songs take me back to when i was a teenager lol memories!!! It seems like a long time ago when i could relax without a care in the world i guess we are all too quick to grow up these days but then again there is a lot of pleasure in having a family and being a grown up to and i wouldnt change my life for the world i am happy and thats all that matters right :-)

Happy birthday Jake

Thats it today i am officially the mum of a teenager lord help me lol!!!!

He is happly playing computer games upstairs with his friend so i can escape for a bit i just cooked them hot and spicy chicken wings and fries so i have 3 happy boys at the moment lol I caved in and bought him a new phone along with some ps3 games at least i can check on him at all times and i will know where he is and that he is safe.

We are going to order in food tonight and watch a dvd i miss the days whre there was jelly and ice cream and pass the parcel and other games but my boys are getting too big for all that fuss Jake normally has a pool party but as hes in plaster theres not much he can do so a computer games party seemed to be the way to go his friend is such a polite little boy with parents who care about him but boy is he loud lol.

We got him some balloons saying new teenager the dog is hiding he hates balloons but we had some fun with them hehe oh well beter go clean up a bit i guess.

Busy week

I know i havent been around much this week with it beening Leons last week in school that has been busy with parents evening and his leavers service which was yesterday.His teacher was all good for him which is great and i am showing you here the certificates he was given yesterday afternoon at the leavers service.
So as you can see he has been a very busy little boy!!! He has his last day at the school today as they have a trip tp cardiff tomorrow they are off to see the mellanium statium and the castle and thenn the school will close forever as a junior school.They are remodling and will open as a junior and infant school in sept 2010.

I took Leon into town tuesday afternoon to get his new uniform ready for sept before they sell out everywhere i can take them back if he out grows them so thats not so bad i guess it just seemed so strange buying my baby shirts and a tie!!! my boys are growing so fast i can hardly believe it!!!

I havent realy been online much this week i have been feeling yucky no energy so tired i realy dont think this new diet is working too well for me im so hungry and only losing 1lb is it realy worth it??? no i dont think so im going to look into s different one so i feel better about mmyself oh well i have to walk down to the po now to get the bing prize out id better get a wiggle on lol

Sports day fun

Cold and wet thats how it was over at Leons sports day. It started off dry but as its quite windy and blowy it was quite cold and then the rain just kept starting and stoping mind you the kids didnt seem to mind i have to be honest im quite saddened at who little parents bothered showing up and then at how many of thoe ran for cover when the rain started but me Debbie and Kay stuck with it to the bitter wet end!!! Its hard to think its the last sports day im going to be attending Jake came with me but i sent him home as it swas so wet and i was worried about his plaster.

When it was all over Leon was given his report and he has done very very well and is at level 5 for maths and level 4 for english and science as level 5 is the highest he has done very well and is so happy about the fact that he is joining his brother Jake in the top band when he moves to comprehensive this september and me and thier dad are just so pleased with the two boys we get jakes report next friday so we will then see how well he has done this term and in his end of term exams.

I havent been around much this week ive been out and about or just sitting stitching hidding from the rain but i thought i would show you an update on my santas dragon so you can see i realy have been stitching lol its realy beging to look like a santa and dragon now at long last and i realy want to try and get it done this month as i have just joined a new exchange on a yahoo group and i still have my halloween exchange and rr coming up so much to do so little time lol.

Here is the order i got from tonya at sss this monday some i bought some i won when i named them on her board and some she sent me for helping her out on her board i am always happy to help out sometimes im so busy helping out i forget about what i need lol. Im going to have to take a look and see what i am going to use all these pretty threads on yet another project to start lol.

Leons school is having thier sports day today they hope it poured down all night last night and everything is soaking so im realy not sure it will all go ahead but we shall see it is trying to brighten up. When me and Donny were in asda on weds when we left Jake with my dad so we could go try to get something for his birthday the radio was on and they said we were heading in for a monsoon all over the uk a month of rain!!! i so hope they have fgot it wrong we shall have to wait see well keep your fingers crossed for me we have untill 1.30pm to see if sports day goes ahead.

miricles happen

From the first time i seen this i knew i had to stitch it up i am always on a diet and i do still have jeans in the bottom of my wardrope that i can quite do up just yet but you better believe i will before the end of the month is up!!! i have just been working too damn hard at this diet for it not to have made a difference and i am still exercising every other day as i am finding everyday to be too tough on my hips and back lol i guess theres no stopping you getting old!!!! i have so many nice clothes i am too afraid to wear as theyy show off too much me but all thats going to change i need to keep going on this i need to try to stick to something for once in my life. The day before yesterday was realy hard i felt so hungry and snappy but yesterday i felt much better i just havent been online much and yesterday afternoon i was battling on with santas dragon its taking me longer as the fabbie is just so dark but im sure its going to look great just very big lol!!!

Leon has just informed me on the way out the door that he has sports day hopefully on friday so i need you to all keep your fingers crossed for me that ts going to be dry as it is his very last sports day at this school before he moves up to comp in september.

Yeay its friday!!!

Finally finished after 4hours of back stitching this morning is my over dyed red dragon by dragon dreams i was lucky enough to get the floss form my good freind Kathleen who i am just so grateful too!!! all the stitching was finished last night and it took me so long to back stitch becasue i hate to do it that much lol .

Here is a photo of Jake he was not too happy with me going in to take his photo while he was trying to play lego star wars lol the poor thing is so bored but he did do his maths project for a few hours this morning so he has earned the chance to play ps3 for a bit he isnt sure yet if he wants to go to cadets tonight its just typical they finish just as they are showing who is being removed from the bb house lucky i have sky+ and i can press pause lol its looking good tonight as they are adding 3 new people to the house so i have heard.

Leons a bit disapointed though as the fishing has been cancelled again this weekend as we are due yet more bad weather gees im getting pretty sick of it all but what can you do? I bought a new scale in town this week too and started a new diet plan yesterday mind you the one i was doing seemed to be working as i lost 3 and half pounds in 3 days yeay!!! we shall see if i can keep it up lol im trying my best but finding it easier on my body to exercise everyother day rather than everyday as then i dont ache quite as much oohh well guess id beter go feed jake as i have a christmas in july weekend on my board this weekend and id beter get it started soon.

Having a moan

Im having one of those days today lol everyone had beter run and hide when they see me!!!!

Why is it that people join a message board and join exchanges and then never follow through with them??? why say you are going to send something to someone and let them down? why let them go through all the work of making or choosing something nice for you and not give anything back? and then not even say thankyou for the gift you have recieved?? these type of people make me so mad and then you see them joining exchanges on other boards!!! you send pm and email over and over and they ignore you when you can see they are on line makes me wanna scream!!!!! thanks for that i feel a bit beter now lol.

On a lighter note i got some floss i bought from someone on smo last november today took a very long while but at least i finally have it i paid for it so i was getting a mad bad that i still hadnt recieved it but alls good now i finally have it in my hands.

Jakes doing better today i think hes a bit bored but when i go to collect Leon from Jakes school after his after school club tonight they said they will have some work ready for me to collect for him we went bck to the hospital and they have given him a shoe type thing to wear and have said he needs to walk on it we are back in the hospital in 3 weeks to see how it is mending with him.
The boys went to cadets last night i had to take them in the car it rained so bad in 20 mins that my road turned into a river almost as high as the pavement!!! i needed a boat not a car lol i ws drenched right through just going to the car and back and had to change completely when i came in when i went to meet Leon he walked and it was hard to tell 2 hrs later it had rained that hard i went to pick Jake up as the floor was still wet and dangerous for him to walk.

I have been getting my board ready for the xmas in july weekend and i will be attempting to get some stitching done later we are having heavy showers today and the sky is going so black it is hard to see to get any done at the moment.
