Sunshine and cocktails.

I havent been online much this weekend its been so lovely hot and sunny here ive sspent all my time in the garden and the pool with the kids ive been up till 3am most mornings watching dvds and drinking cocktails with Donny lol you get some cool green and blue colours wouldnt fancy drinking too may of them and being sick that colour though lmao!!!!

Its been so great spending so much time with the kids i have to make the most of it they are almost all grown up already and wont want to spend so much time with me before i know it especially as they will both be in comp this september. We haver another beautiful morning here but its not to last so says the weathe forcast of this week we are due for some unsettled thundery weather the next few days so ill be inside getting some stitching done!!! Me and Leon spent more time together in the garden yesterday as Jake had Sean over we sat in the tent and Leon painted my tose for me yes i know it should be toe nails but there was more on my tose lol lucky it was just a clear with glitter in it.He asked me to turn him into an emo like pne of his fave bands (my chemical romance) so i gave him some black eye liner and found my black lipstick you should of seen him lol he didnt take long to wash off the lipstick but he liked his eyes oh dear whathave i done!!! we also found some henna tattoos in my box so next time its wet and we are having a sing star contest we are going to punk out lol that reminds me too i have to go online and buy some new songs from sing store.

I redyed my hair on satuirday so i have gone back to dark brown from blonde so its a lot different again but no grey yeay!!! and i have bought a blonde and honey streaking kit to use in the next few weeks to lighten it down a bit and redo Leons hair,

Another busy day.

we went down to morisons this morning to go shoping when we got home we got a phone call to say that Jakes school jacket i ordered had come in so in my wisdom i decided to take the dog then go for a long walk around the water park which is next to the beach as i was wearing a vest top and short skirt i guess i will have caught the sun that will teach me not to keep sun cream in the car lol the dog is suffering for it now though mind you the poor thing is almost 11years old. It was realy nice down by the beach warm and sunny but very windy still nice though as it was a warm wind and there were so many people out walking and cycling.

Had a much better day with the kids saying that Leon is still only allowed out with us and he is in his room so its a hard lesson being learned and Jake is upstairs on the ps3 for a bit.

Well im off to try and stitch fr a bit as it is thursday and i am involved in a count your stitches contest at a board i help admin.

Mixed emotions

Today Jake got his cast off his foot thank goodness!!! no football rugby or boating for three weeks though but at least he has healed quickly and has some sort of freedom back so thats a very good thing.the boys also had a check up at the dentist and as usual had a shining report there.

I havent been online much the last few days Leon managged to get himself into trouble with us on sunday which stopped us from going to the beach and has got him grounded to his room for the next 2 weeks i thought he was a sensable boy and didnt understand the need for him to try copying what some of the older boys around here do i guess its a shame that some of the other parents in the area dont take better care of thier kids and teach them right from wrong and we wouldnt have this worry but thats life i guess i am hoping that he will learn form it and not be tempted into doing silly dangerous things again but we all have to learn from our own mistakes and choose our friends wisely there is always a learning curve i guess. At least he wasnt hurt or anyone else and nothing was damaged either.

I dont have anything stitchy to show as i have been busy working away on exchanges.
I have had a houseful of vistors back and fore all day which is always nice. I makes me think of how a few months ago i was thinking about asking a friend and her daughter down to stay for a few days over the summer holidays as we were getting along so well it would of been so nice to have someone to sit and stitch with its been a long time since ive had that about 15years when i used to sit and stitch with Donnys brothers old girlfriend we used to have contests who could finish what first lol but anyway looks like my plans fell through before i could make then noo matter realy i guess i can still stitch in the garden while the boys play in the pool

Off to the beach

the sky may be grey and it may be a bit windy but we are off to the beach soon for a walk there is a high tide tonight so we are going to see it i know Jake cant walk too much with his foot so we are taking the car and going from there hes upstairs playing on the ps3 with his dad at the moment they are shoting each other in some army game i can hear them as if they were in the same room as me with all the giggling and shouting lol Leon is out playing with Jordan i did phone him home earlier for dinner then he went back out again guess i wont see much of him over these holidays.

At the moment im listening to clubland 13 and some of the redone songs take me back to when i was a teenager lol memories!!! It seems like a long time ago when i could relax without a care in the world i guess we are all too quick to grow up these days but then again there is a lot of pleasure in having a family and being a grown up to and i wouldnt change my life for the world i am happy and thats all that matters right :-)

Happy birthday Jake

Thats it today i am officially the mum of a teenager lord help me lol!!!!

He is happly playing computer games upstairs with his friend so i can escape for a bit i just cooked them hot and spicy chicken wings and fries so i have 3 happy boys at the moment lol I caved in and bought him a new phone along with some ps3 games at least i can check on him at all times and i will know where he is and that he is safe.

We are going to order in food tonight and watch a dvd i miss the days whre there was jelly and ice cream and pass the parcel and other games but my boys are getting too big for all that fuss Jake normally has a pool party but as hes in plaster theres not much he can do so a computer games party seemed to be the way to go his friend is such a polite little boy with parents who care about him but boy is he loud lol.

We got him some balloons saying new teenager the dog is hiding he hates balloons but we had some fun with them hehe oh well beter go clean up a bit i guess.

Busy week

I know i havent been around much this week with it beening Leons last week in school that has been busy with parents evening and his leavers service which was yesterday.His teacher was all good for him which is great and i am showing you here the certificates he was given yesterday afternoon at the leavers service.
So as you can see he has been a very busy little boy!!! He has his last day at the school today as they have a trip tp cardiff tomorrow they are off to see the mellanium statium and the castle and thenn the school will close forever as a junior school.They are remodling and will open as a junior and infant school in sept 2010.

I took Leon into town tuesday afternoon to get his new uniform ready for sept before they sell out everywhere i can take them back if he out grows them so thats not so bad i guess it just seemed so strange buying my baby shirts and a tie!!! my boys are growing so fast i can hardly believe it!!!

I havent realy been online much this week i have been feeling yucky no energy so tired i realy dont think this new diet is working too well for me im so hungry and only losing 1lb is it realy worth it??? no i dont think so im going to look into s different one so i feel better about mmyself oh well i have to walk down to the po now to get the bing prize out id better get a wiggle on lol

Sports day fun

Cold and wet thats how it was over at Leons sports day. It started off dry but as its quite windy and blowy it was quite cold and then the rain just kept starting and stoping mind you the kids didnt seem to mind i have to be honest im quite saddened at who little parents bothered showing up and then at how many of thoe ran for cover when the rain started but me Debbie and Kay stuck with it to the bitter wet end!!! Its hard to think its the last sports day im going to be attending Jake came with me but i sent him home as it swas so wet and i was worried about his plaster.

When it was all over Leon was given his report and he has done very very well and is at level 5 for maths and level 4 for english and science as level 5 is the highest he has done very well and is so happy about the fact that he is joining his brother Jake in the top band when he moves to comprehensive this september and me and thier dad are just so pleased with the two boys we get jakes report next friday so we will then see how well he has done this term and in his end of term exams.

I havent been around much this week ive been out and about or just sitting stitching hidding from the rain but i thought i would show you an update on my santas dragon so you can see i realy have been stitching lol its realy beging to look like a santa and dragon now at long last and i realy want to try and get it done this month as i have just joined a new exchange on a yahoo group and i still have my halloween exchange and rr coming up so much to do so little time lol.

Here is the order i got from tonya at sss this monday some i bought some i won when i named them on her board and some she sent me for helping her out on her board i am always happy to help out sometimes im so busy helping out i forget about what i need lol. Im going to have to take a look and see what i am going to use all these pretty threads on yet another project to start lol.

Leons school is having thier sports day today they hope it poured down all night last night and everything is soaking so im realy not sure it will all go ahead but we shall see it is trying to brighten up. When me and Donny were in asda on weds when we left Jake with my dad so we could go try to get something for his birthday the radio was on and they said we were heading in for a monsoon all over the uk a month of rain!!! i so hope they have fgot it wrong we shall have to wait see well keep your fingers crossed for me we have untill 1.30pm to see if sports day goes ahead.

miricles happen

From the first time i seen this i knew i had to stitch it up i am always on a diet and i do still have jeans in the bottom of my wardrope that i can quite do up just yet but you better believe i will before the end of the month is up!!! i have just been working too damn hard at this diet for it not to have made a difference and i am still exercising every other day as i am finding everyday to be too tough on my hips and back lol i guess theres no stopping you getting old!!!! i have so many nice clothes i am too afraid to wear as theyy show off too much me but all thats going to change i need to keep going on this i need to try to stick to something for once in my life. The day before yesterday was realy hard i felt so hungry and snappy but yesterday i felt much better i just havent been online much and yesterday afternoon i was battling on with santas dragon its taking me longer as the fabbie is just so dark but im sure its going to look great just very big lol!!!

Leon has just informed me on the way out the door that he has sports day hopefully on friday so i need you to all keep your fingers crossed for me that ts going to be dry as it is his very last sports day at this school before he moves up to comp in september.

Yeay its friday!!!

Finally finished after 4hours of back stitching this morning is my over dyed red dragon by dragon dreams i was lucky enough to get the floss form my good freind Kathleen who i am just so grateful too!!! all the stitching was finished last night and it took me so long to back stitch becasue i hate to do it that much lol .

Here is a photo of Jake he was not too happy with me going in to take his photo while he was trying to play lego star wars lol the poor thing is so bored but he did do his maths project for a few hours this morning so he has earned the chance to play ps3 for a bit he isnt sure yet if he wants to go to cadets tonight its just typical they finish just as they are showing who is being removed from the bb house lucky i have sky+ and i can press pause lol its looking good tonight as they are adding 3 new people to the house so i have heard.

Leons a bit disapointed though as the fishing has been cancelled again this weekend as we are due yet more bad weather gees im getting pretty sick of it all but what can you do? I bought a new scale in town this week too and started a new diet plan yesterday mind you the one i was doing seemed to be working as i lost 3 and half pounds in 3 days yeay!!! we shall see if i can keep it up lol im trying my best but finding it easier on my body to exercise everyother day rather than everyday as then i dont ache quite as much oohh well guess id beter go feed jake as i have a christmas in july weekend on my board this weekend and id beter get it started soon.

Having a moan

Im having one of those days today lol everyone had beter run and hide when they see me!!!!

Why is it that people join a message board and join exchanges and then never follow through with them??? why say you are going to send something to someone and let them down? why let them go through all the work of making or choosing something nice for you and not give anything back? and then not even say thankyou for the gift you have recieved?? these type of people make me so mad and then you see them joining exchanges on other boards!!! you send pm and email over and over and they ignore you when you can see they are on line makes me wanna scream!!!!! thanks for that i feel a bit beter now lol.

On a lighter note i got some floss i bought from someone on smo last november today took a very long while but at least i finally have it i paid for it so i was getting a mad bad that i still hadnt recieved it but alls good now i finally have it in my hands.

Jakes doing better today i think hes a bit bored but when i go to collect Leon from Jakes school after his after school club tonight they said they will have some work ready for me to collect for him we went bck to the hospital and they have given him a shoe type thing to wear and have said he needs to walk on it we are back in the hospital in 3 weeks to see how it is mending with him.
The boys went to cadets last night i had to take them in the car it rained so bad in 20 mins that my road turned into a river almost as high as the pavement!!! i needed a boat not a car lol i ws drenched right through just going to the car and back and had to change completely when i came in when i went to meet Leon he walked and it was hard to tell 2 hrs later it had rained that hard i went to pick Jake up as the floor was still wet and dangerous for him to walk.

I have been getting my board ready for the xmas in july weekend and i will be attempting to get some stitching done later we are having heavy showers today and the sky is going so black it is hard to see to get any done at the moment.

Been to the hospital

When the boys were out playing yesterday evening Jake came home complaining he had jumped off a wall and hurt his foot well Jake being Jake he does have the tendancy to over react more than just a little we told him hed just bumbed it as it didnt look swollen or black and if he walked om it it would be fine so he got up this morning and walked to and from school he called me lunch time to ask if his friend could come home and i said fine and i asked how his foot was and he said much better.

Well when he came home he was complaining again so i said id take him to casualty (er) to see what they said i thought it was going to be a waste of time but when we got there he was seen eventualy and the dr said she wanted him xrayed so he hobbled over to the xray dept and then back to casualty and turns out he has broken a few small bones on the out side of his left foot even though he had been walking on it so now he is up to his knee and on crutches so he wont be going back to school for these last 3 weeks as there is no way he can walk around to his lessons as many of them are upstairs and there are steps everywhere so he is home they think he will be in plaster 6-8 weeks which will mean he may miss this week camping holiday with the sea cadets and any other weekends it also puts an emd to his sailing and caneoing for the rest of the summer tosay he is gutted is an undertstement. We are back at the fracture unit in the morning to get the full story so we shall see.

Back to my diet and fitness plan my whole body is aching today and im glad in a way i didnt get to exercise as it will give me a rest lol and i have to go into town tomorrow as my scale has died on me it told me id put on 2 stone this week then lost 3 then stayed the same then put on 3 stone lol time to get a new one i think!!!!

Sundays a day of rest?? whatever!!

I say this with a lol as now is the first time i have sat down all day!!
I have got through a stack of ironing and put them all away i have done more exercising as i am realy trying not to get bored and wonder off as i do this everytime i just give up way to easily and then complain about the way i look well i am desperatly going to try to keep it up this time i want to lose as much as i can by xmas so i can get into some of the nicer clothes i have, I did manage another 25mins on my bike and another 10 minutes on the mat before i made everyone lunch i also then spend an hour with the kids playing wii sports i was not amuzed at them saying my fitness age was 71 lol but i am going to work on that everyday untill i get a better result i just cant seem to get the hang of the baseball one.We then went onto doing the boxing fist you had to hit a punch bag and then dodge the balls hmmm lets just say my arms are aching now im dreading getting up tomorrow!!!! lol
so now with my chicken cooking in the oven for tonights tea the kids out playing and Donny yelling at the 360 lol i am going to try and get my dragon dare i say finished??? lol id better not but get somemore of it done as i want to watch the final of euro 2008 tonight as the team i picked is in the final and so is the team that Donny picked so all thats left to say realy is GO GERMANY!!!!!

noisy saturday afternoon

On saturday morning i had a lovely gift through my door from Nicky one of the girls off my runboard site for winning the last round of bingo and as you can see boy did she spoil me!!! it was such a lovely package she had put together for me and i was speechless!!! a hude thing for me as i never know when to shut up lol!!!

Then later that afternoon it was time to play the ps3 like i had promised the kids they decided it would be fun if they asked thier friend Jordan into play so there would be four of us lol you should of seen us i have put an album up with more photos for you to see it started off with the older game then the newest one now they are asking if they can please get songs from sing store as they play it often i guess thats not so bad but then again they are 99p each so i dont realy want them

going over board as they will have me spending a load before

i even notice it lol!!!

So we had a very eventful saturday afternoon here then we had a curry and watched a movie before bedtime.

Advance warning!!!!

I took some of the older ps2 games back to game to buy the new sing star for the ps3 today ive been upstairs playing it with the kids for a bit we are going to have a contest tomorrow afternoon so im warning you all now............... yes the rain will continue prob with a few thunderstorms thrown in somewhere lmao town was so busy you can just tell its a friday afternoon even though it is still so very very wet here there was just so many people around its madness!!!

The boys are off to cadets tonight but there will be no sailing as they wont take them if the weather contitions are bad which is strange as they are in canoes ect on the water!!! oh well i guess its because some of the grown ups may get wet lol i now we cant be having that can we!!

As its so miserable here we have no plans to go out anyway and the euro 2008 final is on sunday which i am looking foward too hopefully the thunderstorms in vienna wont be bad and i may acualy get o watch more than half of the game this time.

I guess id beter go make them food before they go.

Feeling better

Finaly the fog from my head seems to be clearing and i am feeling so much better i dont know if its my boody telling me i am trying to do much too soon with the exercis and diet i am trying to work on so i think i may have to slow down a little so i wont go at it so hard for the rest of this week and see if that improves things.
I have just walked across to Donnys brothers exwife with him and left him there for a bit to come home and have the house to myself for a bit i would say its quiet lol but im never quiet i love my music and music is always best loud!!!! so i have been cleaning and i am taking a break chatting to my friend on msn lol.
I am planning to try and do a lot more of my red dragon this evening as Leon has a fishing meeting so Donny will be wityh him and when i get back from dropping them off it will be just me and Jake on hang on hes the chatty one i have no chance lol
I am planing on doing a little exercis though i want to do as much as i can no pain no gain does ironing count?? i have loads of that too do hehehe

OUCH!!!

Boy am i feeling it now earlier i did 25mins on my exercise bike and boy was my bum sore when i got off it lol!! I also managed 100 sit ups im quite supprised even though it was taking short breaks that didnt feel so bad just my legs are like jelly tonight lol oh well no pain no gain i guess i just realy hope i can keep it up and see and feel a difference my chest has been so bad the last 2 years i guess carrying a bit of extra weight doesnt help either so lets hope my will power will hold out this of many times i have started lol there are a few pairs of jeans in my wadrope that i would love to get back into so i need to keep it up.

I still have a slight dull feeling in my head but i did get a few stitches into my dragon earleir so its getting better at long last 3 days is a long time for a headache. Well with the boys at sea cadets and dinner cooking im off to watch eastenders

dying fabbie!!!

Yes ive been dying again today i decided it was time to the newsletter i have been promising for my site so i needed some new stuff to show on it. So i did a few pieces of evenweave and a few aida and they have all been added.

I would of done it sooner but i have had a horrible headache

yesterday and today that i just havent been able to shift at

all it was really bad yesterday but at least today it has just

turned to a fuzzy light headed feeling which i am almost coping with.

On a lighter note i started trying to lose some weight last week

i tried to exercise a bit more and i guess i could of eaten a bit healthuer but i did manage to lose 6lb not a bad start but i hope i can keep it up ive been watching the biggest loser on sky real lives and wow what a difference you can make if you realy want to try i just wish i had so much will power and it would be nice to have company to do it with me.

Its friday again already

This week seems to have come around fast!!! Leon went out to play last night and came in with a broken phone tell me what is it with my kids and phones?? honestly i think they think we are made of money and can just replace things at the drop of a hat to be honest he explained that it was an accident and he has looked after it for 6months but with Jake braking 2 one within a month and one in 13 days it was enough to cause a scene so we have now decided that we are not going to be replacing either phone they are going to have to save up and get them themselves maybe that way they will look after them better...maybe... so at the moment its if your going out fine but you dont go further than i can shout so you come home when i want you to so thats not going to be much fun for them or me.
Leons fishing comp has been cancelled tomorrow as we are due yet more bad weather i dont think summers ever going to get here. So now we are home for the weekend so i am hoping to get more fabbie dyed and update my website and get this months newsletter out before its too late!! I have had a lot of new members as i have been very lucky enough to have a fairly new designer come join my board and has very kindly offered to give out free charts whicj=h is fantastic of her.

Another wintery day

For the middle of june you realy dont expect gale force winds pounding rain and dark miserable weather its horrible and depressing i hope it gets better for leon before his competition on saturday or hell be realy disapointed if its cancelled or realy wet if its not lol.
I got my mill hill beads this morning and a reel of krenick for the next two fairies i want to do hmmm im full of ideas like that lol these are two of my future plans.

I have just bought wind element and i am looking foward to eventually getting round to it lol. And I am using my own hand dyed fabbie for moon dreams.
