The joys of pets!

Is it just ours? Or I it all wedgies who seem to think anyone walking past or coming to the house for any reason needs to be barked at very loudly for a long time?? I pity our poor postman because he gets it the worse. Lucky we love you Jensen!!!

Guilty pleasures

Ok, I know I love to stitch but I wonder so stones weighed I bite off more than I can chew!! In the above photo are some of my kits. The ones I haven't started yet and knew where they were, I know there's more laying about. I've been spoilt while we could incase there's a time when we can't. This doesn't include my charts which I've been collecting for o 20 years!!

Oh dear

Well, I would like to say I've had a constructive week off but I haven't lol but I did platinum this on the ps4 :-) I love my playstation I can play for hours which doesn't help me get much Stitching done!!!

Back to it!!!!

This is a photo I took before I ripped up the carpet but I think you get the point!!! Here is my shadow he does everything with me even workout!!!! I love him so much hopefully it will give me motivation to stick to it this time around but we will see this cough isn't making it easy neither has the long break I've taken.

I think they miss you

And this is what happens when their Daddy works days he has to give lots of cuddles when he gets home!!! Ah bless I guess they miss him loads he only needs Sammy now lol!!!!

A week off work

Jensen just about sums up exactly how I'm feeling, I'm just so so tired. This cough I've had since new year's Eve is starting to get me down it kept me awake almost all night long :-( not the best start to my weeks holidays!!!!

Late nights and early mornings

I really can't remember the last time I was in work when the shop opened on a Sunday morning but it would be my shift the weekend of my hubby's birthday lol so it meant a taxi into work and a walk home!! But it was dry and not too cold so I walked over to whsmiths and got myself a new book to start marking down my weight loss journey I suppose it depends on how long I keep it up for this time because normally after a few weeks I get bored and stop but I'm going to try harder before summer this year!!!
I've been trying to decide on my wip for February and I'm thinking it will most definitely be my cabin, as you can see I've not gotten that far and I had it for my birthday last year but I have finished quite a few between then and now!!!!

I can see a rainbow!!!!!

So, I'm looking out my living room window searching for the thunder snow I know we won't be getting and what do I see instead? This beautiful rainbow, guess it's not all bad then!!!!

Friday the 13th

So here we are on Friday the 13th eeekkk I'm so superstitious I hate today would rather stay in bed all day and ignore it but I won't lol. Kinda disappointed really in the weather at least where is all the snow they've been promising??!! We've had nothing at all.....I'm actually quite relieved but it would of been nice to see Jensen's first reaction to it!!!

Happy birthday!!!!

Today my wonderful husband turns 40 years old!! I wish I could say he would have the most amazing day but unfortunately he will be in work for most of it and not finishing until 10pm but he will be home all weekend so I'm sure he can make up for it then!! Happy birthday I love you sooooo much!!!!

Small update.

And finally we start to see almost all of Sammy's face!!! It's still a long long way from being completed and I can see it not being finished by the end of this month so it's probably going back into rotation until March so I can work on my cabin for a while. But at least it's finally back on out TV screens :-)

One day!!!

I came across this story, isn't it beautiful? Our world would be such a better place if we all had the heart and took the time to do something that didn't benefit ourselves every now and again. Sometimes small things can make a big difference to someone of something.

Dreaming of summer

Who else is fed up of the cold just know I am!!!! It's good to know spring won't be long then summer yeay!!!!!

Lazy sunday

So today I had a good few hours to work on my stitching, firstly while watching the footie then the grande tour and later while I watched a film with hubby. I'm itching to get this completed but it can be such a chore with all the greys it can feel like I'm getting nowhere fast. It's times like that I put it back into rotation but I'm really trying not to this time I'd love to get it completed so very much this year :-)

Last weekend

So this is the last weekend after Christmas I always say let's try empty the cupards and get healthier. Sometimes it lasts sometimes it doesn't. Been thinking of the best way to tackle it this time around with my husband working shifts and mine never staying the same week to week. Also still fighting off this flu virus it's going to be hard work trying to get back into exercise but I'm going to try. 

On the same note, eating healthier isn't all bad apart from all the prep that goes into it and spending much longer in the kitchen but this is something I want to try and do by myself before I pay someone to help. I made this for food tonight and it was yummy I love lamb so it was a very nice treat :-) 

Rainy rainy day

All it's done today is rain, it's been such a miserable 12th day a real reminder that the sparkly fun time of Christmas is really over. I braced it and went out for a while but have to say I was glad to get home, summer can't come fast enough!!!!!! I have to be honest I spent most of the afternoon playing Harry potter on the ps4 but when you still aren't well and don't have a voice I think that's ok :-) 

Quiet as a mouse!!!

Ive been struggling for what feels like weeks rather than days with this flu virus and not getting any sleep hasn't helped either with all the coughing once I lay down, even tried the Vicks on my feet, didn't help. So I got up this morning with no voice, can't say my lot are very sympathetic mind you they seem to be enjoying the peace and quiet!!! All I can say is it's going to feel like a very long shift in work tonight.

So on that note the exercise plan hasn't started as I do not have the energy to even want to start thinking about it feeling as completely crappy as I do, but on the other hand I have gone back to the healthier cooking as Christmas is over and I now have normal shifts and I have more time. Will weigh tomorrow and see how I do this week :-)

Stitchy update

After spending the day cwtched up on the sofa with my blanket and a box of tissues, I decided to try work on my supernatural boys tonight once my eyes stopped running I didn't do very much but I was amazed how much I did manage to do with how crappy I am feeling at the moment. So here is where I am up to. Really hoping it will be my first finish of 2017.
