Feeling energetic!!!

Today has been so busy!! Hubby has been on afternoons so as his usual lift has been on a course I've been doing the drop offs and pick ups, not ideal being out in the cold at 10pm but needs must!!! I'm amazed I have enough energy to fit Zimbabwe in but I did manage and I'm glad because I do love it so much!!!
I went into Tesco on the way home and they had daffodils for 54p a bunch of I thought I'd brighten up the kitchen and the living room!!! I love our national flower :-)

Miserable wet day

I miss the summer!!! I miss the warm!!! Walking the dog in the pouring rain getting freezing cold earlier was no fun at all :-( we were both soaked through!!! He even decided he wanted to take a short cut on the way back lol, but enough of weather talk!!! I have said enough times about being on a diet this year....Well not really a diet a lifestyle change really, and I'm quite proud of myself!!!! 7lbs and 7inches lost in January let's hoping I can keep this up!!!

Busy day

This is what you have to do when you are trying to eat healthy. I made the scotch eggs from scratch with pork and not sausage meat! Expensive this diet lark....Anyway, today started out with me going to the hospital for a checkup on his copd. He's been struggling for so long and I wish they could do something to make him more comfortable but it's rest after test. When we were leaving we seen his other daughter ( yes I'm aware it's my sister but it doesn't feel like it to me) she seemed more concerned with her problems than his, which I guess is because she knows nothing because she doesn't make anytime for him. But that's enough said. I drove his car back to do some shopping with him and I'm feeling more confident in doing so now even though it's a tank!!! I actually started to work on my kitchen this afternoon and there are now 4 cupboards looking better and the first bag out of the house, it's a start right,??!!

Monday blues

So it's Monday again, and I'm off the full week and just working the weekend, which I hate as everyone is in work and I'm home alone and sooooo bored. I'm also driving hubby back and fore to work this week so I guess it gives me something to do. My list for this week is 1. To make a start on the kitchen, 2.to walk the dog and exercise, 3. To stitch on the boys 4. To play some ps4 lol oh and the hospital with my Dad tomorrow. What ever you plan this week try to make time for yourself as I will have too much of that!!!

Wip sundays

Decided it maybe fun to take a photo of all the wips I could lay my hands on!!! There are more as two of my haeds are not included in these photos.

As you can probably tell this is one main reason I don't get much finished!!!!

Some of these have been wips for a long time so I guess more like UFOs but maybe one day they might get done, maybe!

Football Saturday!!!

I love having the chance to be home on the weekend and get to watch the football, I don't get it very often so I really try to make the most of it while I can :-) Hubby disappeared for a few hours this afternoon to help out a friend so after I'd had my fill of the games and made some lamb burgers for food this evening I decided to play my singing game and I got the world record yeay me!!! Love it when that happens hehe! 

Weekend starts here

So, went back to work yesterday after 10 lovely days off and as usual it all kicked off just before I left for a late shift. Not much fun, I'm hoping this weekend will run more smoothly. Did an early shift this morning which was great except hubby didn't finish until late but on the bright side I had more time to play ps4 before I cooked us steak and chips and we relaxed cwtched up in front of the TV :-) hope your all having a wonderful weekend xx

Stitchy update.

Taking a break from the greys on the boys, but then again this is all blues!!!! I wanted this for so long I had it on my birthday last year from hubby and my birthday's coming up again and it's shocking how little I've done on this with all the other projects inbetweener. Never mind it's starting to take shape now eventually :-)

More cooking

So. I made this over the weekend. Its a Korean beef dish and it was very tasty!!! Some of the slimming world recipes have been so nice, some so spicy and others I didn't really rate!!! But if you liked everything the world would be a very boring place!!!!

Time for a change

I actually say this every year, I need to make changes sometimes I stick to them, other times I just get lazy or bored or too willing to think people change...Well they don't ever. I can say sometimes I miss this or I miss that with certain people I used to love but I don't actually think I miss the people just the fun I used to have doing the things on the rare occasion we used to to them and don't think of the other times when I just felt a cloud over me or an anchor pulling me down into the blackness and then I remind myself they are in my past for a reason, they aren't meant to be in my present I've out grown the need for them.
So this year needs to be about me and what I want. I'm going to declutter my home, get my garden started and finish the decorating and I'm going to try my hardest to get off my bum and drop some weight for me because I want to. I want to get things the way I want them for me. I've had my heart broken so many times by people who say they will be there for you but are too selfish to actually mean it that I'm done with wanting anyone in my life apart from my very close family. Because at the end of the day it's just you,

The joys of pets!

Is it just ours? Or I it all wedgies who seem to think anyone walking past or coming to the house for any reason needs to be barked at very loudly for a long time?? I pity our poor postman because he gets it the worse. Lucky we love you Jensen!!!

Guilty pleasures

Ok, I know I love to stitch but I wonder so stones weighed I bite off more than I can chew!! In the above photo are some of my kits. The ones I haven't started yet and knew where they were, I know there's more laying about. I've been spoilt while we could incase there's a time when we can't. This doesn't include my charts which I've been collecting for o 20 years!!

Oh dear

Well, I would like to say I've had a constructive week off but I haven't lol but I did platinum this on the ps4 :-) I love my playstation I can play for hours which doesn't help me get much Stitching done!!!

Back to it!!!!

This is a photo I took before I ripped up the carpet but I think you get the point!!! Here is my shadow he does everything with me even workout!!!! I love him so much hopefully it will give me motivation to stick to it this time around but we will see this cough isn't making it easy neither has the long break I've taken.

I think they miss you

And this is what happens when their Daddy works days he has to give lots of cuddles when he gets home!!! Ah bless I guess they miss him loads he only needs Sammy now lol!!!!

A week off work

Jensen just about sums up exactly how I'm feeling, I'm just so so tired. This cough I've had since new year's Eve is starting to get me down it kept me awake almost all night long :-( not the best start to my weeks holidays!!!!

Late nights and early mornings

I really can't remember the last time I was in work when the shop opened on a Sunday morning but it would be my shift the weekend of my hubby's birthday lol so it meant a taxi into work and a walk home!! But it was dry and not too cold so I walked over to whsmiths and got myself a new book to start marking down my weight loss journey I suppose it depends on how long I keep it up for this time because normally after a few weeks I get bored and stop but I'm going to try harder before summer this year!!!
I've been trying to decide on my wip for February and I'm thinking it will most definitely be my cabin, as you can see I've not gotten that far and I had it for my birthday last year but I have finished quite a few between then and now!!!!

I can see a rainbow!!!!!

So, I'm looking out my living room window searching for the thunder snow I know we won't be getting and what do I see instead? This beautiful rainbow, guess it's not all bad then!!!!
