What a busy day!!!

wI had a call from my dad yesterday morning as he was supposed to be calling down his car had decided to die on him so i went to meet him in town with his shopping took him home and used my machine on his car i then followed him to the shop not far from me to get a new battery then followed him again to my house where i helped replace the battery in the poring rain then he had a cuppa with us while he dried off before he went home its still ok as far as i know as i havent heard from him.

The christmas lights arrived and Leon and me tried them on my tree but they werent big enough so we put the tree away and went down to b&q and then down to homebase and morrisons but have not bought anymore as yet by the time we camehome it was cold and dark so we made some pizza ut the heating on and settled down to watch a dvd for the night.
I recieved my first rr/orniment exchange from Sue yesterday this exchange is currently being run on my board in the last three months of this year the idea is you send an unfinished orniment to your 3 partners and finsih the ones you het back as you choose this is what i recieved from Sue and its lovely thankyou Sue!!!! I also have an update on my santas dragon its coming it really is at long last im starting to see siggns i may acually get it doen by the end of next month!!!!
Im going to try get some cleaning done today cos i wont be here tomorrow and make a list of anythings i may want to pick up at the craft show and then an early bed because me and leon leave early tomorrow!!!

Arrrhhhh!!!!

Right i feel a little better now but its just been that type of week between cancelled hospital appointments,naughty children and broken glasses ill be glad to see this week well and truely over but hang on a minute its half term next week!!!
Inbetween everything this week i have manged to do ssomethings though i attempted to bake my fist ever christmas cake this week and after 3 hours cooking here is my cake in all its glory...

not bad for a first attempt hey???!!! i have to feed it brandy now every week ntill the week before christmas whe i will decorate it and show you again.Leons been in trouble in school this week which has led to him being given 2 after school detentions he wasnt the only one but he needs to learn not to copy everyone else too he knows when hes stepping over the line and needs to start growing up a little and he will do better he has his last detention today and im hoping that while he is home next week he will try to decide to behave better when he goes back to school they all seem to go through this behaviuor when they start comprehensive school it was bad enough with Jake now we are doing it again with Leon. Jake came home from school yesterday with his glasses broken someone had grabbed them off his face and thrown them into the wall but the school is dealing with the person so i hope they contact his parents becasue its just not on Jake is really going to struggle the rest of this week without them we git his replacement glaases ree but have been told next time it will cost £68 so he really needs to look after them this time.

The hospital called on tuesday afternoon and cancelled Donnys appointment so now we have to wait untill the 6th november to see how his eyes are going so after my rant you can see why this week has been so rubbish. I have managed to get some stitching done how i will never know but i have finished the xmas ornniment/rr for Louise but i cant show you yet and just have one more to do then all my stitched exchanges for this year are over!!! i have also done a little more on my santas dragon too. Well im off soon to go meet Jake and take him to tescos with me for Leons cooking stuff for school tomorrow Leon will be walking home as punishment for what hes done and hes not going to be too happy about that because we have gale force winds here and its raining but he has to learn

A fun filled weekend

Ive had a brilliant weekend this week i spend a whole lot of time with my family ive slipped on here to update while the boys are out Leon has gone to kick boxing and Jake has gone with him for a walk as Leon got his lisence this week he is allowed to spar this weekend and is really looking foward to it and next weekend he has his first attempt at gaining his first belt which if he passes he will recieve on halloween and he is so looking foward to that too. He almost didnt make it to kick boxing on friday night as Jake swung open the front door and smacked him on the head with it Leon had a fair lump there but was ok thankfully we were a little late getting there and i explained to the coach and she made sure she kept an eye on him for me. On saturday my dad and stepmum called as usual and i cy=ut his hair again for him before the winter comes in mind you its really cold and windy here today so i dont think we will have very many more warm sunny days. On saturday morning the postman also brought me something i really wasnt expecting!!! i have won two tickets to the Carrdiff craft show and i am planning to go on thursday the 30th oct i was planning on maybe giving it a miss this year but there is no way im doing that now!!! the onky problem i have is finding someone that would maybe like the other ticket and want to come with me Leon is coming as Jake came with me last time but children go in free so is there anyone that wants to be my company for the day??? just let me know :-)
I spend s good few hours last night playing singstar with the boys we bought some new songs from singstore after we all eventually sgreed on what we wanted one of them was the final countdown by europe that brought back some memories of school discos i can tell you lol.We had a brilliant time Donny was upstairs watching ufc and came down at 11pm and said hmm i think youd better switch it off now its getting a bit late to be so noisy!!!! so the kids then went to bed and we settled down for the night. Last but not least here is another update on santas dragon it is coming along very slowly!!!

Busy busy

Wow has this been a busy week so far and its not over yet!!! I have a little time before i have to go colect Leon from the school disco i was only picking him up from school two hours ago as he had a rugby match and now hes back there again until i go collect him at 9pm.

Tuesday was busy the boys went with the cadets to the towns majors palour with the cadets i had to collect them just after 9pm and when we got back Leon and I rescued a frog that was hoping about on the road and placed him in the school field out of harms way i am supprised how many people have said its bad luck to touch a frog but id rather pick it up than see it squished on the road i like frogs!!!! the way things are going with me hopefully it will bring some good luck after all in all the fairy stories dont the princesses kiss a frg to get a prince??? id hardly call that bad luck LOL

On wednesday i decided to take down my cutains and shorten them so the heat comes out from the radiators instaed of into the curtains and they look so much better all they need now is for me to go over the stitching with my sewing machine i dyed the off cuts with a chocolate brown dye and i am going to be recovering my dining room chairs with them so they are cleaner than the dirty white they are at the moment and i like the colour they came out so much ive decided im going to get more dye and change my curtains from cream to chocolate brown and i want to dye the cusion covers on my sofa too. Last night Leon was also in bed at 5pm with a really bad migraine i think it was his body telling him he needs a break so i decided to scrub all my kitchen units and appliamnces as everything seems to be a dog level and they seemed grubby but they are sparkling for now i went to wake Leon at 9pm to get his uniform off him and then he decided he wanted food he ate it and was back in bed by 9.20pm and i was shaking him up this morning but was insistant he was fine and so far so good.

I also managed to get somemore done on my dragon last night for a bit anyway and i have done even more today so fingers crossed it will be done soon cos im getting sick of the sight of it. Well its friday tomorrow so i guess i am taxi mum untill 8pm then i get a bit of piece before they get in from cadets so if i not back before have a great weekend everyone :-)

Monday again already

I dont know the weeks seem to be getting quicker and quicker these days and christmas is slowly but surely creeping up quicker than any of us like to think too!!! which is why i am desperatly trying to get santas dragon done before my decorations go up next month i am keeping at it but i am so disapointed when do a good few hours on it and countless stitches and then when i look at it i think is that really all ive done????? heres a new wip picture for you all to see im not getting too dis heartened yet though i will keep up trying to get it complete in time.Saying that ive got nothing done on it so far today ive just been too busy ive cleaned all of downstairs this mornning living room kitchen and bathroom all my floors are cleaned and ive dried one lot of clothes on the line and have another out and ive dried 3 lots in the tumble drier and have another lot in there and another wash on the go!! i also have a cawl simmering on the stove for tea and a loaf of bread baking i still have my leather sofas to get clean but i am taking a break as my back is killing me and my chest is a bit tight for a minute but ill be fine after ive had this cuppa. The boys will be home soon so i may leave the sofas untill tomorrow we are in tomorrow awaiting some of the things we have starting getting for them for xmas i wont say too much as they both know where this page is lol.The postman was late today he was here just before 2pm i really didnt think he was coming but when he did i recieved the fabbie i had won from Jackies contest on threads and yarn it is 28ct evenweave so i think its about time i learned how to stitch over 2 so this is the perfect oppurtunity to do so and the fabbie is just so pretty i am looking foward to having a go at some pointOh well no rest for the wicked i suppose id better get on!!!

Its friday!!!!

The start of the weekend which means i get a lay in tomorrow which is great!!! The house is lovely and quiet at the moment with the boys in cadets after id picked Leon up from school rugby training then feed them droped Leon off at kick boxing come back droped Jake at cadets then went back to pick Leon up and drop him at cadets9PHEW! LOL) so im sluming it tonight and relaxing with a martini and lemonade whilst i cook a pizza in the oven and watching eastenders. Yesterday afternoon i went to the nurse for my flu jab and my arm has been killing me but tonight its feeling so much better thank goodness.

I had a nice quiet day yesterday before i went to the drs though i managed to get a xmas piece done for my rr/orniment exchange on my board thats the first one from three this runs monthly for the next three months we all get 3 orniments back unfinished and we get to turn them into what ever we want which is all new to me but so far im enjoying it!!! I also managed to do a bit more on my santas dragon and to finish the last corner on the rr and i finished it so here is a photo for you all to see ;-)
What do you think? I love it!!!! and i am almost half way to doing 50 for Tonyas challenge on the sss board hhhmmm somehow me things im never gonna do 25 in the next 3 months!!!!

A crafty day.

Here are the goodies from the craft shop i got in Gorseinon yesterday all ready to start making my christmas cards for this year and today as it has been so wet cold dark and miserable here i thought i may just aswell make a start.
I have shocked myself this year with what i have managed so far i really didnt think i did too well last year with the cards i attempted to make but as it was my first real go i guess i shouldnt really be too disapointed i guess everyone has to start somewhere and i am just hoping to keep improving with practise :-)

We recieved this lovely gift in the mail this morning from Karen from the smo board she sent Donny a lovely get well card which i read to him and have put on the fire place and she sent me some more lovely halloween stuff and i just love it!!! she really knows what i like and just how to spoil me thankyou Karen :-)

I also finished off my halloween tree today and the boys helped me decorate it when they came home from school and the little houses underneath it are the ones i recived from Debra over on the smo board as part of a halloween exchange last year they just arrived a little too late for halloween so they are alll freshly built ready for this one.Its my first attempt at a halloween tree so im hoping it looks ok :-)

Monday catch up

Well its been a few days since ive found time to post as ive been so busy with everything here but i thought id take the time to let you sll know what it is ive been up to/. Well i finally finished the fantasy exchange on the old sss yahoo group im asuming that it has been recieved by now even though i havent heard and i mailed it first thing thursday morning and as it was just going to England so it should be there by now as it went first class so here is the dragon dreams chart i did the photo doesnt do the sparkles justice though and to be honest i really didnt want to post this one i loved the way it finished so so much but you cant always keep everything now can you!!! which is a real shame i must say oh well hopefully what ever i get back will touch me just the same :-)
Ive been spoilt again the last week with some lovely gifts first was this beautiful fabric from Trish from the smo board she told me she was sending the halloween fabbie but i really had no idea about the christmas one not that i mind at all as it is beautiful and such a lovely suprise thankyou trish!!!!
I also recieved my dmc from Maru which i won in her contest on the smo board and she has sent me some lovely colours all wrapped up in a beautiful trick or treat bag its was so beautifully done i really didnt want to open up the bag and take out the dmc so thankyou too Maru :-)

I would also like to think Twig off the smo board as well for sending Donny a lovely card to say she was think of him and what hes going through i have it sat on my fire place right now i put it there after i had read it to him and he also would like to say thankyou for your kind thoughts so thankyou so much Twig :-)

I have been busily trying to work on my santas dragon while i have been home the last few days i really am trying to get some done but i have been putting it down to do Donnys meds so its not hours at the time so progress is slow but i am getting there i promise i will take some photos by the weekend so you can all see. I also painted my halloween tree this week and the boys have told me its looking pretty cool which is nice to hear as always!!! i walked town saturday afternoon with Leon trying to get black glitter while Jake stayed at home with Donny but came home with none so we went up to the craft shop in Gorseinon today and i finally have some along with another £9 of stuff to make christmas cards lol i always seem to spend a fortune in that place which is why i try to avoid it as much as i can. I did make a start on my christmas cards on sunday afternoon before i watched my football match and i have a total of 4 so far hmmmm not very much but i guess its a start afterall!!! I will post photos when ive done a few more i promise!!! Back to the halloween tree i am running a contest on my message board the winner of the best tree will get a nice prize so if youd like to try please feel free to come join my board the link is in my links section.

Not good news.

As you all know today i was back up the hospital with Donny for his check up after his medical problem with his eyes reared its ugly head again last month well after the check up this morning we have found it has now returned in both eyes which really isnr good. He is now on meds every two hours in the newly infected eye and 4 times daily in the eye that hasnt cleared up. He can still see nothing in the eye that was first affected again and now next to nothing in the other especially when he has had his meds. We have to do this again for another month and wait for a new appointment to go back they are quite hopeful that the infection in the newly affected eye has been caught early but we will have to wait and see.

I needed to slip to tescos on the way home for a few things and had to try guide him around as he could see nothing when he came out of the hospital and then i brought him home where we have been for the rest of the day with the curtains pulled to try keep out the sun light id really deosnt do that much though as my curtains are cream. I made a phone call to the drs this afternoon as i need to get my flu jab as i cannot afford to be ill and the cold i had last week was bad enough so im going to get it done tomorrow i really dont want to go as i hate needles but i will.

While Donny was in the hospital this morning i slipped to the pond which is right by the hospital and i found the perfec thing to make my halloween tree im so excited i have posted a contest on my message board to get everyone else in on the fun!!!! When we got back from the hospital i kept myself busy trying not to think too much about the news we had today i baked a loaf of bread and cooked us some soup for lunch and then worked for a few hours on my santas dragon then i baked a chocolate loaf a pork dinner and some chocolate cakes before i had a bath and settled down to watch eastenders im now watching the man city match on the telly we normally watch bones because Donny likes it but ive just had to wakr him to give him his drops ive put the heating on so its nice and warm in here even though the wind is howling and its really pouring outside so its knocked him for 6.

Id just like to thamk all the ladies out there for your support at this time it means a lot to me.

Final halloween exchange finished for this year

Just a quick post today ove been busy cleaning this morning and ironing this afternoon and i shall be off soon to get tea started but before i do i wanted to share with you the halloween exchange i made for one of the ladies off the sanman board as she recieved it yesterday i almost didnt want to send it it came out so cool i did the skeleton and the moon in glow in the dark krenick also the heading on the tombstone so it really comkes to live in the night time. I just hope she enjoys it :-).

We are back up the hospital tomorrow for Donnys check up so please if you can id be really grateful if you could keep us in your thoughts and send some possitive vibes our way that would be great!!!

Sunny monday

Its another beautiful sunny day here i dont think its going to last much longer but im going to try and make the most of it i have a full line of washing out and another ready to join it to double the pile of ironing i have this afternoon lol We had a pretty quiet weekend here we did finally have the living room window replaced so now we are secure again after 3 whole months and it makes such a differace having a double glazed window in there i can tell you.I had a funny looking visitor on my washing line as you can see from the photo it will teach me to leave my pegs on the line!!!! but i can tell you ive never seen a spider that colour before ever.

I decided yesterday afternoon to go through all my stitching and paper craft stash and now at long last it has some order to it so hopefully in the next few weeks when i go to make my christmas cards ill be able to find everything.

I have a busy week planned aorund the boys activites and Donnys hospital apointment on thursday morning you all need to keep your fingers crossed for us that it will be good news please i dont think i can cope with much more bad. Oh well better get my bum shifting and get on with the rest of the housework these beds arent going to strip themselves now are they!! if only hey lol

Feeling much better tonight

I am feeling so much better tonight my tempreture is down and ive only taken two paracetomol alll day my head throat and nose feels much better but my chest is still a bit rough and i am still coughing a bit but that i can cope with.
Thia morning Donny and i recieved this lovely package from Lynda off the sanman board its so lovely to think we have friends out there who are so willing to send thier good wishes we are so lucky so thankyou Lynda it was all lovely and smelled so nice after being against the bath salts.Thankyou again for your very kind thought.
Now i finally have some time here are the photos of my boys with thier newly earned badges first is Jake with his seaman ship third class and then Leon with his cook stewart badge Leon is too young to have this badge as he is still a junior but they made the exception as he is going to be a new entry cadet in the next few months we are so proud of them both.

Still bunged up.

Good thursday morning to everyone i really havent been doing very much the last few days i am still so full of cold you wouldnt believe but believe it or not the more i sit down the worse i feel. I managed to get my car to the garage yesterday morning and now at long last the problem with my main beam is fixed so now i will be able to drive in the dark on my own which will be easier on a friday night with Leon and better that Donny can stay home so the headlights from oncoming cars wont hurt his eyes.

On the way home we stopped at tescos as i needed a few things but i really didnt feel like shopping so we werent in there long but i bumbed into one of my aunties and she told me one of my couisons had been hit off his bike by a car and at the time they didnt know if he was going to make it the first thing they new about it was when a police car turned up at the house and sped them to the hospital with the serions and lights going he had cut a vein in his head and at the roadside they couldnt stop the bleeding and he may of bled to death but luckily they managed to stop it by the time he got to the hospital and 32 stitches later he is week but alive. He is hoping to get back on the bike this weekend as it is the welsh trials but my auntie said she doesnt think he will be up to it he is so brave wanted to get back on his bike like that i dont think i would be. Anyway while we were in trostre Donny took me over to peacocks to get me new warmer pjs as the night before i was complaining i was freezing in bed thats not normally me so i guess it must be my cold you should of seen us me guiding him and him holding me up cos i felt so rough lol.
So when the kids came home from school then back in from playing footie with thier friends over the school i made everyone food the boys had a shower and disappeared upstairs to watch tv so i went to have a bath but the water was running cold i went to check the metere but there was still plenty of money in there even though i havent bought any for over 6 weeks so it turned out the red light had come on on my combi boiler so we had no heating of hot water all night still dont have in fact i did phone and was told to wait untill this morning and call back which i did but now have to stay in all day and wait for a cvall out not that i mind the way i am feeling at the moment. So i gave up and had a shower and put on my nice warm pjs and settled down to finish reading the book ive been reading which i really enjoyed i must say it was difficult as my eyes wrere streamimg but i managed it and then i was in bed just after 11pm to try and get some sleep not thta i managed very much as i kept waking as i couldnt breathe very well.

So i am sat here now in my pjs i dont want to get dressed im too comfy Donny is still upstairs i think i desturbed him lots last night so im leaving him there for a bit im going to try get my dragon finished for an exchange im in on the old sss board i may have to email Lorna later and tell her its going to be later but as of yet i havent recieved mine either ant the post out date has come and gone so i dont know whats going on there i really dont.

Well off now to take some more paracetomol and try get the washing out but saying that the fog hasnt really cleared yet but im hoping the sun will shine through soon.

Halloween shopping

First for all i would like to say thankyou to Karyn for this beautiful card and chart that arrived in the post this morning it was a total supprise and i love it very much so thankyou so much Karyn.
Today through my stuffed up noce and chest i went up to Gorseinon to pick up frozen mice for Psycho so while we wehre there i popped into poundstretcher and they were selling halloween masks 3 for 2 which is great and they were a lot cheaper than tescos so i bought three here are my lot modeling them lolIt wasnt long after we got back that Jake was home from school and then my friend Debbies boy called over with something for Leon he wasnt at school today as he has a chest infection and the poor thing looked awful.Ipicked Leon upo at 5pm from school after his school rugby match and he was buzzing as they had won by a landslide.The boys are at sea cadets noe Leons finishing just after8pm and Jake around 10pm so i will settle down for the night when they are both home untill then i have the ironing to finish from last night even though i really dont feel up to it.

Monday blues

Ive had a busy day today we had the lady from the council out to discuss the improvments they shall be making to our house in the very near future but looks like we shall be waiting a little longer than most when it comes to our kitchen refit. The gas meter is now going to be moved outside and one of our windows is to be taken out and replaced with a smaller one so that it will no longer be lower the the work tops so its added a good few weeks onto the finishing date so it looks like i will be waiting a little while longer for any time of flooring in my kitchen but i guess good things come to those who wait. The are also going to be looking at why my bathroom keeps being so damp before they fit my new bathroom suite and shower i for one will be so glad as i am sick of having to clean up all the dampness they said having a radiator in there would help but it hasnt and neither does keeping the two windows open 24 hours a day as the bathroom is downstairs this isnt such a great idea either but it has to be done i guess. Hopefully when its all sorted it wont be so bad for my chest.
I have also been down to b&q his afternoon to price up a few bits and pieces and had my exsister in law over for a bit she wanted some advice on guinea pigs and brought over her sons ds for us to have a look at as its having some problems since we were able to fix Leons after i left it in my bag and then stood on it just a few weeks after he had had it i completely smashed the screen it was uplayable but its all fixed now thankfully.Ive done most of my ironing tonight but ive just been constanlty disturbed whilst trying to do so so ive given up for tonight.
I had two phonecalls this eveniong one before Leon even came in to defend himself from the boy whom he was fighting with in schools last weeks mum i thought the whole sitituation was over with as i was hoping it was all out of thier system but looks like its not i dont know what happened as i was not there but apparantly she has seen the fight on one of the phones that had been tapinng it and turns out they wre bith to blame but wanted to ask me to ask Leon if they could keep away from each other fair enough i spoke to him and he said he would well she decided to phone me back to check i did i really dont know what else i can do un;ess i go to school and hold Leons hand i know when they played rugby together for over 4 years they never really got on but i was hoping as they are in different classes they would keep apart ontop of everything else thats going on at the moment i could do without it you know.
Well im feeling tired i have a bit of a sore throat and i can feel i have a cold coming on im hoping it doesnt get too bad a si havent had my flu jab yet i hate needles so i avoid it as long as i can lol so im sitting here with a malteasers hot chocolate and just having a quick catch up.I did have some good news today though i won joint 2nd place over on Joans blackwork contest which i was really pleaseed about so thankyou to all those who voted for me!!

Smells like christmas

well thats what my house smelled like yesterday afternoon anyway let me explain Leon had cookery yesterday he had to make cheese and tomato puffs using ready made short puff pastry you know the ones you buy frozen.Well he brought home one roll so rather than throw it away i decided to make some mince pies as Donny loves them i thought it mayhelp cheer him up a little.

Yestreday was a quiter day at mine we stayed in as they were supposed to be replacing my living room window but we had a call just after 7.30am with the lamest excuse you could ever get for not being able to do it.The sun was shining brightly so i wanted Donny to stay in to give his eyes s break. We did got out at 3pm we went down to pets at home and meet Jake there and then went back to the school by 4pm to pick up Leon from rugby training and he was filthy!!! i guess the fields still havent recovered yet from all the heavy rain weve been having. I then made the mince pies and we left here about 6.15 to get Leon to kick boxing cadets was cancelled last night so we left the car outside the kick boxing and me Donny and Jake walked the short distance over to asda to have a little look while we were waiting for Leon and youll never guess what we saw when we were heading back to the car!!!!! someone had thier christmas tree up and all lite in the window on the way back!!! i could hardlyy bilieve it i mean its september i could never ever do mine so early im sorrry but they were really get on my nerves i decorate for halloween anyway so iwouldnt dare do it so soon i mean Donny complains when i put ours up the end of november LOL we havent realy had out lights on these past two christmases anyway with his eyes the way theve been i dont want them to hurt them and ive juist remebered i have to buy new ones for the tree this year too. We got some chips from the chippy on the way home which was nice i didnt have to cook yeay!!!!

Today the boys have been to a wedding with the cadets we left them go on the bus on thier own i could of taken them but i think they need a bit of independance sometimes and its so warm and sunny so i stayed home with Donny his meds are down to every two hours from every hour today so its giving us both a bit of a breather and given me more time to do stuff and i have cleaned and changed all the bedding today so im hoping to get a bit of stitching done now maybe before it gets dark we have lans to settle down and watch a dvd and make a curry but before that i have to venture into the attic oh boy is that going to be fun as i hate spiders and dark spaces and we have no flooring up there hmmm im not looking foward to it one little bit i have visions of my feet dangling through the celling lol oh well wish me luck!!!

A better day today

Today was a much better day than yesterday i left Donny to rest this morning while i had a bath and a little me time before the hourly meds started, Then we had a phone call from my dad he had taken his car to the garage and when he had got home he had realised he had left his keys at the garage so i had to go drive down to let him onto his own house as i have a spare key i had to giggle its very unusual for him to take out his mobile too it was a good job he did!!! LOL he was just too tired to walk back to the garage as his chest is very bad and he tires so easily saying that its not the first time hes locked himself out oohhh no hes beem knocking my door after midnight after a night out and hes had to have a taxi down to me to get into his own house LOL Anyway after we had been down there we went to morrisons to get a few things very slowly as donny gets so dizzy on these meds we had to keep stopping but he hates being stuck in so i took him and we took our time, We went to take Leon his kit for football trials and brought jake home and i picked up the mail,

And there was a lovely gift waiing for me from Tonya of SSS some beautiful halloween stickrs and some krennock i needed to try finish my santas dragon and a gift voucher for 123 stitch thankyou so so much Tonya it was a real suprise and really helped lift my spirits Tonya also sent me a lovely card from 123 greatings so show me she was thinking of me at this difficault time which was also very lovely thankyou again.

Also today i recieved this beautiful fabric from trish on the smo board thankyou so much i love it and i promise i havent forgotten the aida will be in the post to you very soon thankyou again.
I also recieved my halloween exchange from the smo board and i have been really spoult my partner wanted to make up for the fact that the last two years i didnt get my exchange untill december and boy has she spoilt me!!! mine will hopefully be in tthe mail to her by the weekend at the latest i cant get any stitching done at night now as the light is hard on Donnys eyes so i just leave it off thankyou again so so much!!! The wonderful gifts ive recieved today all remind me how lucky i am to have such great friends

Hospital update

Well i went to pick up Donny from my dates just after 4pm with the kids in tow turns out the 2 eye conditions he has are back with a vengance in one eye only 6 weeks after the medication was stopped i really dont know whats going to happen next even the consultants at the hospital where at a loss ti why its returned so fast and its veryu worrying. He is back on hourly meds with other drops and creams inbetween for the next three days then to be reduced to two houirly for the following 3 days then 6 tiimes and day for the next week and we are back at our local hospital thankfully for the next appointmant in october he is back on the original meds he was on for over 18 months which you are only allowed to take for a maximum of 3 months before it causes kidney and liver damage/faliour so i realy dont know what to expect next we just have to take every day as it comes and just realy hope foor the best im just hoping that he will get through this set back ok as it is a whole lot to take in but i am here for him every step of the way. He is resting at the moment after going through so much at the hospital earlier but even though he cannot see yet again through the effected eye he still has a little vision in the other which is a blessing.

On a lighter note i recieved a letter from the kitchen designers earleir they are calling on monday to discuse the the next steps getting closer to finally having a new kitchen ii cant wait to get new flooring i can tell you!!! and they are finally coming to replace my living room window on friday so i will finally be able to open it after a very long 3 months!!!

Yesterday afternoon i spent baking with Leon we made some banana and chocolate chip muffins some chocolate chip muffins and some chocolate fairy cakes covered in chocolate and decorations it was realy nice to spend some time with Leon as i hardly see him these days now he is in cadets and has joined the school rugby team he has also started kick boxing twice a week and has football trials for the school tomorrow afternoon id love to get some of his energy!!!! Ah well im going now as i have to go pick Leon up soon and then Jake later and im trying to watch Chelsea playing on the telly!!!

I dont know what to do next

Im sat here and im a mess my hubby got up this morning and his condition is back in a bad way we went up to the doctors like we were supposed to if this happened and he went to make the necessary appointment in llanelli hospital and they refused to see him we nor the doctor could believe this as he has been a regular patient for the past 22 months eventually the dr managed to make him an appointment for another hospital which is over an hours drive away at 2pm which means i couldnt even go with him as the boys finish school at 2.55opm hes just left and im a mess i dont know what to do with myself or how to behave at all im hoping someone signs into msn soon but then again i may just clean as soon as the kids come home im out of here im going to go meet him back at my dads as soon as he is discharged but as theyve only just left i really dont know when ill hear or what will happen im not good at waiting and i really dont want any bad news things are supposed to get better not worse its just not fair

Monday again already!!!

I am sat here trying to get updated quickly before the kids walk in through the door and i have the computer taken from me lol. I havent been online much all weekend on saturday i had my dad and his wife over for a few hours and jake had his friend over all day and then i watched the footie well half of it as i was invited to Debbies house as her hubby was away so we had a girly night in with one of her other friends too. It was great some girly chat and a few bottles of wine i came home around 1.30am and then sat up for a few hours with Donny before i eventually crawled into bed its lucky i dont do this every weekend i dont know if id survive!!!!

On sunday i had a quieter day Leon decided her wanted to go to his friends for a few hours his friend has moved now and is living up by the school so even though Leon has never walked there on his own before i cant really say he cant go as he walks to school and back so i had to let him mind you he did phone me as soon as he got there so i knew he was there safe. As the kids are getting older i guess i have to start etting them do more and i have to do less for them or they will never learn to be independant will they??!!! Well as Sam Leons friend goes to kick boxing on a sunday afternoon Leon has decided he wants to go now to how he is going to manage this around cadets playing for the school rugby team and he has tryouts for the school football team on weds i just dont know he is one busy little boy!!! but id rather see him doing things as Jake just doesnt seem intrested in anything at all.

I spent sunday sfternoon working on my smo halloween exchange and its almost done!!! yeay should be finished today then i just have a fantasy exchange to do then i can do something for me at long last Donny asked me yesterday so it that one for you or are you giving that away too? i had to laugh.

Oh well time to get off and do something else i guess.

My second halloween exchange from my board has also reached the usa so i can proudly show her off to the world:-) Joan is very happy with her which is always fantastic to hear :-)

I havent done much today realy Kev called over this morning to borrow the kids tent and Leons sleeping bag as he is going away for a stag weekend camping in Devon got to say with the weather coming in rather him than me lol he asked me when we were chatting on msn last night and i asked the kids and they were happy so he came over to collect them. As Kev is away i am going over to Deb for a few hours on saturday night theres going to be a few of us so that should be fun. We went down to tescos this afternoon and then pets at home before the kids came home and we got the mice a wooden tunnel with chunks cut out of it to give them some thing to climb in and chew patches loves it she just cant keep off it lol.

The last few days have been difficult for Leon someone told him on msn that the big bang experiments that are happening tomorrow are going to result in the end of the world so i have had to try and reasure a a very frightened little boy that if it was that dangerous surely they wouldnt be allowed to do it and if it does go that wrong we wouldnt be able to have time to worry about it anyway i just dont understand why someone would frighten him like that this boy is someone that used to be in school with Jake and lives just around the corner from us i just advised Leon it may be best not to talk to him again i am waiting for him to be "ill" in the morning but i am realy hoping he can try not to worry about it we have been joking with him all week that ah dont worry about that its the end of the world weds if its something due the end of the week lol so fingers crossed he wont worry too much more.

Monday madness

Wow my house is quiet on a week day now the boys are back at school but its nice to sit and stitch for a while in a bit of quiet lol. This is Sues rr she choose a snowman theme as well so i am hoping she will like this sleepy little fellow in all honesty thats exactly what i fee like doing right now too!!! I had too late a night last night watching a film on the telly and this morning came all too quickly but ive been fine all day. Had a lazy morning stitching and watching tv then i cleaned before we had peole out testing the fabrics in our walls and ceillings they were here over an hour then i got dragged to town because Leon has decided he wants to try out for the football team on wednesday so i had to go get him some new togs hes going to need them for pe anyway so thats not so bad ......what was bad is what happened next.............

Jake had a little left over from his birthday money and today he decided he wants to join in with me his dad and Leon so he has decided to pick a team in the premiership with the rest of us lets just remind you all that i am Chelsea Leon is Man utd and Donny is Liverpool well Jake doesnt do things by half oh no here he is shpwing off his new team

for those of you who dont know its Arsenal oh boy is that going to be fun,,,,,,,,,,,lol

Another halloween exchange to share.

Here is the halloween exchange i recieved from Joan this morning from my halloween exchange on my board and i love it thankyou so so much Joan i love the way you made the orniment and i have posted pictures of the front and back for you all to see.

We have had a very wet past few days i dropped the kids at school yesterday morning and got very wet just going from the house to the car and back but by 11am it had brightened up and the sun was shinning but inbetween we were still having very very heavy showers my dad called round earleir and he said the water by him was so bad it was very near to coming into the house again and it brought back memories form when i was about 6 or 7 when it flooded so badly the house was almost a meter of water inside it i just remeber getting up and the water was half way up the stairs. I went upto down yetserday after getting a new battery for my car (yeay!!!!) just need to replace the old one now and they have had some halloween stuff into asda at long last but still not really what i was looking for so i shall still have to wait a little longer. When we got back i made the kids some cakes and they were happy with that when they came home they have been spoilt as the day before i decided to make some rissoles an an apple crumble i have so much more time when they arent here but i dont know how long that will last lol.

Last night the boys went to cadets anyway and i watched the final of big brother i have no idea what im going to watch instead in the evenings now lol.

Well i am about to drag Jake down to pets at home with me for a walk as we need more food for the mice Leon is off out fishing with Liam i am waiting for the rain to come back and have them both come home like drowned rats again lol. Have a good weekend everyone.

Morning out

This morning was still very wet here so i decided to take the boys to school in the car Donny was up so he came with me. We were going to go to tescos before coming home but he suggested maybe we go to Gorseinon for a run to see if i could pick up some halloween stuff so i jumped at the chance lol .We drove up by poundstretchers but it wasnt even 8.30am so everything was still closed so we went into a cafe and had a bacon roll and a cup of coffee which makes a nice change .
When we came out poundstretcher was open but i was very disapointed as there was still nothing only 2 packets of foam stitckers so i grabbed them anyway. I then drove into gorseinon as poundstretcher is on the out skirts and down to the craft shop i was happy once id gone in there i got some stitckers for my christmas cards and birthday cards and some lovely pictures and some fairy 3d thingys i also got some buttons that i have to be honest Donny had to find for me lol what am i like!!!! im still on the out look for some halloween fabbie but i think im going to have trouble with that as we have no material shops anywhere near us and im still looking for more halloween stuff to maybe it will come in soon especially as they are already selling christmas stuff in tescos would you believe!!!!

The boys with me are very disappointed at the moment as the camping has been cancelled this weekend due to the bad weather we are having our town center was flooded on monday asda the market and a few other places where flooded and the forcast for tomorrow is looking dreadful at least they will be safe at home with us they are hoping to go in the next few weeks instead so i dont think i will be off saturday night now but there will always be another time.

My babies first day at comprehensive school.

Here he is my baby all dressed in his new uniform ready for his first day at comprehensive school hes going to kill me when he sees this but i dont care lol im sitting here patiently waiting because they are due in the door any minute now. Jake ran when he seen the camera so i dont have one of him lol.

I can also now show you the halloween exchange i made for Louise as it arrived safely yesterday and im so glad that she was happy with it it is the first exchange of this sort we have had over on my board and so far its going realy well.

September brings more rain.

I had a fantastic evening last night our friends and thier children did come over for a good fe hours last night and it was so lovely to have our house so noisy and lively for a bit and a good time was had by all infact Debbies youngest little boy who is almost 4 broke his heart when it was time to leave he just didnt want to go!!!! but his daddy had had quite a few drinks and was ready for his bed lol.

Today has been awful my street is flooded again after the heavy heavy rain we have had its still raining now just not as bad thank goodness. It started out not so bad this morning and the 3 boys went fishing around 11am well by 2pm i was trying to drive through roads of rivers going to collect them it was awful Leons phone got ruined he was just so so wet i had to peel thier clothes off them and get them into the shpwer and get a wram drink down them in front of the fire i am so hoping this weather goes before next friday or they are going to have a rubbish weekend away camping which is such a shame. I have also admitted defeat and decided to empty the pool and put it away hoping we have a much better summer next year cos this year we dont seem to have had one at all.

Only one more day of them home and then they will be back at school yeay!!!! lol saying that its hard to beieve my baby is going to comp they both seem to be growing so fast it just doesnt seem fair.

One last word id like to tell all the ladies to stay safe over in New Orleans where the hurricaine is heading especially Shirley and Denise please please stay safe!!!! and let me know that you are ok as often as you both can.
