Days 3 and 4

Well the bedroom is coming along slowly and now i get to show you one of the colours Leon has picked. This colour is for the wood in his room. And now Finally all the white is done too so it is ready for the colour next week :-))))

Yes he has picked bright yellow hhhmmmm thats wht you get when you let kids decide i guess lol.

I managed to find some time

To start a new small piece of cross stitch this morning before the decorating starte. The boys where at school and Donny was sleeping. He doesnt seem to be doing much of that at the momment so i thought i would leave him there and do a bit while i was watching casualty. Its a old dragon dreams freebie and im completely changing the colours too. Here is a little look at what ive done so far. Its done on a peace of my hand dyed fabric as ive still got quite a bit to use up.

I have also managed to get little more done on my fire dragon the last few weeks to. I must admit its not much but i am trying to get a few stitches in how and when i can so i will get there eventually :-)

Leons room day 2

Well i stripped all the wall paper off one half on Leons room yesterday on the side where is bedroom is going to be. He is sleeping at the front end of the house at the momment but he is being moved to the back end. I must say it wasnt too hard a job the wall paper seemed to come away from the walls quite easily which was good for me :-)

So i got Donny to fill the wholes for me and then left them to dry.Then today i had i had to start painting them white i think this is going to tke a good few coats as the walls are so green so then i cant paint the colours Leon has chosen.

I have to say that it doesnt seem like that bad work s long s i can blast out some tunes while i am getting it done :-) Its deff going to need more than one coat of white the walls are just so dark its unbelievable. But im sure i will get there

Here we go then.....

Ive started Leons room and ive decided im going to be taking photos of the work im doing as im going along to i hve something to look back on a little sad i must admit but it will give me something to do now and something to look back on whta i have achived with a little help for some of it of course :-) So heres what it looked like when i started it . You should be warned it is a teenage boys room and they dont seem to understand what keep your room tidy is one little bit mind!!!!!!!!! Loens room is really big we are planning on splitting it into two so they can also have a room where they can go to watch tv and dvds and play computer games too :-)

I will keep updating my blog on how its all going hopefully i wont bore you all too much lol xxx

Second finish of the year.

Why is it i always start of so good every january but then go down hill very very quickly....hmmm i think other stuff has been getting much to much in the way of what i want so no more!!!!!!!!!!! I keep telling myself this but i still dont believe i can really truely acually do it....I will have to hope so lol.

Ive been thinking about..........and please dont giggle............starting a HAED now being a complete newbie to anything like this.....can someone please tell me what fabrics they use to stitch them on. I have only ever used aida WILL IT WORK.... any advice would be grtefully accepted :-)

WOOOOHOOOO now my body has fully recovered from the last time i tried to exercise i can happily say i did an hours game time so only acually dancing of dnce central buring over 300 calories along with 30 sit ups , 30 bum thrusts and 30 leg raises and this time it just felt good :-) Im deffo gonna need to do this more than once a week to get back into it :-) xxx

Happy birthday Donny

I would like to wish my wonderful husband a very happy birthday :-) The end of 2010 was rough on all of us but you seem to come out of it all a happier person now. 2011 can only get better love you xxxx

OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!!!!!!

I can hardly move!!!! I feel like ive been hit by a bus honestly i really do lol. Ive been a good girl and im trying to keep up my new years resolutions soooooo yesterday I did 30mins on one of the exercise gmes on the kinect donny got me for xmas, followed by 30 minutes on dance central followed by 25 situps, 25 leg raises and 25 bum thrusts and my god am i paying for it today!!!!!!!!! Now ive been plying dance central all ocer xmas so it must of been the exercise game......i think it be while before i pick that up again hehehe

New yers resolutions.

Yes i know we ll tend to make these every single year and half of them we have no intention of sticking to at all whats so ever but this year i really really am going to try :-) So if you dont want to hear me have a moan of what i want to change look way now you have been warned!!!!

Well after having a pretty rubbish end to this year becasue of certain things so i have decided 2011 is all about me!!!!

Im giving up kickboxing i dont want to be in a place where people arent very friendly i did all i could to help out at everything to have it all thrown back in my face so no more!!!! Im working on being a better mum and wife this year and its cos its what i want.

I am going to be working out at home as much as i can using the kinect i love it!!! far much better than the wii board you cannot cheat at all :-)

I am going to hget back to my stitching its been far too neglected and i miss it so so much.

I will be spending more time on my runboard and less time playing fish world on facebook and im going to try keep my blog updated so im not doing a few months at the time playing catch up.

I want to get some more of my house decorated this year and i am going to find time to sort out my garden more this year too.

Im going to keep up my baking too ive loved doing it over christmas and showing it off.

If i can think of more i will be back but i think this is a pretty good start

Merry Christmas

I would just like to wish ll my friends a very merry christmas and healthy and happy 2011. I hope tht the holiday season will bring you and your loved ones all the joy and happiness each and everyone of you deserve :-)

I just wanted to show you some of the last of my baking before i leve you to celebrate. I think i have out done myself this year almost all of these things have been a first time try out lol but i have to admit they havent come out half bad :-)

Chocolates,cookies and mince pies :-)

Well its still snow covered here so i decided to do some baking reday for xmas i must honestly say i dont thinks will last but i enjoy doing it anyway :-)

So this is what i made first :-) there are chocolates with whole hazel nuts,chocolte and white chocolates with hazelnut brittle,chocolte with peanut butter, chocolate and white chocolate with coconut and white and chocolte dazzle squares and i still have lots of ides for more which i will get on with later :-) i must confess i have hidden the chocolates for now so they dont get eaten hehehe.

And here are some mince pies, some chocolte shortbread mince pies and some chocolate shortbred men. I wasnt sure bout the chocolate shortbread mince pies but they re cool taste more like christmas pudding than mince pies to me though lol.

Is snowing!!!!!!!

Yes you heard right it is acually snowing here in Llanelli we completely missed out last time but deffo not this time lol!!!! I am aware now that it will prob stay on my street till christmas as we get no sunlight and i will have to try get my shopping done via txi or something tues if it sty lol but for now its looking very pretty :-)

We went for a walk up to town as the vet was closed so we couldnt take the dog anyway and as i wont attempt to drive in it and the buses and taxis were stopped and the schools where all closed and many shops in town . Oh well it is very pretty to look at xxx

Last of my christmas cards for this year :-)

Hey everyone boy have these weeks to christmas been flying along so fast!!! I just wanted to take a few minutes inbetween shopping and cooking to show you my last few cards i have made :-)This one is for Jake This one is for Donny And this one is for Leon. I always try to stitch crds for my three boys over christms :-)

Im just so relieved its all coming together although if im honest im already starting to regret the bills that will start coming in after christms is over.But im sure i will manage i usually do lol

Im already starting to look foward to the new year so so much now that kickboxing isnt the only thing in my life i have planty of time to do more crafting weither it be cross stitch card making or playing with beads :-) and maybe a new line in hand dyed aid could be on the crads too!!!I have also really enjoyed making clothes designs this yer too so who knows where the future will lead....

Let it snow let it snow let it snow

Well anywhere but here anyway lol!!!! Saying that it was very pretty to watch through the window as i was making christmas cards this morning but it didnt last long before all the rain came down and washed it all away.I have been sat down tonight trying to figure out what gifts im going to get for my boys this year they grow so fast and its so hard when you can no longer just go out and buy them toys theres nothing to built anymore on a christmas morning and i miss that along with all the excitement of the night before.

But i guess you cnt keep them small forever they hve to grow up and explore the world for themselves just like we have and hope they turn into good people.

Im sure they will still have a great day and just enjoy being home lol i doubt Jkae will be ble to pull himself away from his girlfriend for a whole day though hehehe Im easy this year lol i just would like some perfume and some makeup please santa ive been a good girl xxx i dont ask for stitchy stuff theres no point in a housefull of boys hehe

Going to see santa!!!!!!!

Yes ive decided im going to drag Donny out with me to twon to watch santa arriving at the grotto as he usually arrives on a sleigh with reindeer :-) then we will be ble to see all the lights too ahhh im looking foward to getting out for a bit with my hubby hopefully it will help his mood a little and when we get back im going to get on with my christmas hards hopefully and watch a christmas movie :-) xxx

Its carnival night

here in Llanelli tonight so that only can mean one thing for our house!!!!! and thats putting up our tree :-) Which seemed like a good idea until i went to get our tree and realised i must of thrown it out after xmas last year....ooops....lool Yes well it didnt go down too well with the kids i have to be honest so we jumped in the car and went down to argos to get a new one. It is smaller than the one we did have but its a lovely black colour and i love it.Here is bud trying to help out lol he loves xmas as much as the kids do if not a little more xxx

Christmas cards

Finally i am starting to feel a little more human today at last :-) I can walk up the stairs without getting out of breath which is fab :-) So ive decided to make some christmas cards I cant believe how fast christmas is coming and here i am no where near prepared at all. The only things i am certain of is my cake which i hve cooked myself and the turkey my dad is getting us for our dinner!!!! omg do i start to panic now!!!!!!!! Nah theres not much point now really is there lol xxxx

The joys of november...........

Well since ive come home ive been looking after donny and trying to help him through his dark patch and ive been really ill myself :-( ive hardly left my bed since monday even though i had to drive Jake to a college open evening on monday night in the pouring rain and dark hardly being able to keep my eyes open. My chest is so bad im coughing so much all the muscles in my body ache im just so tired too can hardly keep my eyes open but on the brightside at least im having it early this year. Leons been home since yesterday too but t lest his isnt as bad hopefully he will get through it quicker being a child.

Dark days

Well after returning from being away i just knew something wasnt right. Firstly thursday night my car refused to start well that will teach me for leaving it a week!!! Luckly Lidls is in walking distance so i went out to get some things we needed into wht felt like really cold conditions after coming home from the heat but i was just so happy to be home. Everything seemed ok but it wasnt.

Last night i started to realise just how bad things were. Leon went to bed quite early still tired after the traveling yesterday so Jake and me decided to play greenday rockband for a bit as Donny had his head stuck in the laptop sdoing something which i wasnt quite sure about until a few hours later. Something was bothering him i guess it was everything me be away and the hard time he knew id been given ontop of him being ignored when he came to meet us all at the airport but something inside of him kinda snaped i guess. He is already struggling with depression because of his disability and i didnt know just how much he was struggling until last night. Neither Jake or me have ever seen him act the way he did. He was saying things about his life before us and how hes always struggled with everything and how lucky he was to have us and how sorry he was for throwing everything into the kickboxing and neglecting us because of it. Why because they werent worth it now because of wwhat they have done. And hes right we hve done nothing but be helpful nd have had everything thrown back in our face for no reason at all. I dont understand myself but then again i dont really care either it gives me more time for me. He was in such a dark place it acually frightened me at one point he was even saying that he wanted it all to end he had had enough of his life what was the point. I had to try calm him down and make sure he went to bed. Its so much stress its scary but im not sure what exaclty what brought everything on but i know i will have to keep an eye on him the next few days and make sure hes taking his meds i wont ever leave him for so long again thats for sure.

We are going home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soooooooooooooooo excited!!!!! I get to see Jake and Donny today and i cant wait and i dont care who hears it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are up early all pcked and longing to be in a much freindly place than this is. I know people say Llanelli is dump but its my dump and i cant wait to get back to Wales!!!! To be honest it hasnt felt like we are in a different country just different place is that all traveling is i dont know lol maybe its just me :-)

Ok so this isnt the plane we were on cos we were on easy jet but this is one we saw looking out of the window lol . When we arrived back in Bristol Donny has come up on the bus to meet us and tht ws fantastic for both me and Leon after a quite awful last few hours last night and when we got home Jake was home and i hugged him so hard and Bud was so so happy to see us too :-) I dont think i could go for a week again its far too long but im home now and im so happy.
